Anchorage Alaska

Anchorage Alaska is located in South Central Alaska, and is the largest city in the state.  The Municipality of Anchorage extends it reach from Portage to Eklutna and everything in between. Near the city lies Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, and the Alaska's largest military population.  Anchorage hosts a vast array of local native cultures and people from all of Alaska come to Anchorage for medical care and shopping.

If you are traveling anywhere else in Alaska, you will be stopping in Anchorage.  All flights in and out of Alaska must stop in Anchorage before going to their final destinations.  While you are in Anchorage there are plenty of activities for you to enjoy. You can shop, enjoy world-class cuisine, see spectacular wildlife, or just take a relaxing hike on one of the thousands of trails that litter the city.
