Kayak with the Whales of Point Adolphus
Join professsional kayaking guides for a day with the whales of Point Adolphus, the most prolific whale viewing area in the state of Alaska.
The trip starts in Juneau with a short flight to Gustavus and then a 20 minute charter boat ride to Point Adolphus. (We can also start in Gustavus).
From here we will get a brief paddeliing lesson and then begin to explore the quite coves and inlets of this rich marine environement. In addition to whales, salmon, eagles, sea lions, seals and numerous waterfowl make this area home.
A gourmet lunch will be served on the beach and a charter boat will will return to pick us up in the late afternoon. All equipment is provided.
