is noted for the Great Kobuk Sand Dunes and caribou migration routes. The park
covers 11,756 mi˛ (6,757 km˛), approximately the size of the state of Delaware. |

Lake Clark National Park and Preserve is in
southwest Alaska on the Alaska Peninsula and is noteworthy for its location at
the junction of three mountain ranges; the Alaska Range, the Aleutian Range and
the Chigmit Mountains. The park covers 4,094 mi˛ (16,308 km˛). |

Wrangell-St. Elias National Park |
Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve is in
southern Alaska and is designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the
largest national park in the United States by area, covering an area of 20,587
mi˛ (53,321 km˛) and contains the second-highest peak in the country, Mount
Saint Elias, at 18,008 feet (5,489 meters). |
